A multi disciplinary artist and an art educator (Nasr ,Hyderabad), Deepika Bijawat has been working in the field since fifteen years participating in various group shows and workshops all over India. A student of the most prestigious institutions -M.G.D and IIS university, Jaipur, she is a bachelor in Fine Arts specialising in Sculpture, skilled in clay sculpting, doodling, water colours, dry pastels, arcylics and all possible mediums, she always believes in evoking and conveying novel perspective to life in her students.
Recipient of 'Swami Vivekanand SAmman-2005' for contribution in Art field, Creative Talent of the year-2006 at IIS, Winner of All India photography contest at BITS, Pilani, 2004 and First in Clay Modelling at Inter College Youth Fest, University of Rajasthan, 2006, her art works were selected for Annual Artists Exhibiton, State Rajasthan Lalit kala Akademi many times.
Passionate about teaching, she conducts clay sculpting workshops at various institutions in Hyderabad and Jaipur. She believes in her strength of being a student before a teacher!
